LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Carmichael's Bookstore location on Bardstown Road in the Highlands just got bigger.
It recently took over the space it used to share with Heine Brothers'. That was the original Heine Brothers' location, but the coffee shop moved across the street in June.
Carmichael's is using the new space to expand its card, cookbook and puzzle selection.
"Carmichael's has always wanted to expand," said Bri Esposito, events coordinator at Carmichael's Bookstore. "We've been looking to do so for a really long time, and when Heine Brothers' moved across the street, we figured we couldn't pass up the opportunity."
Carmichael's also celebrated its 40th anniversary this year.
