LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Hardin County Sheriff's Office is looking for cemetery vandals.

The HCSO is investigating after the vandalism and theft of multiple vases and bronze emblems from grave markers.

The sheriff's department posted pictures on social media of a headstone where a personalized emblem was stolen at the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens on Leitchfield Road. Detective Evan Newton is handling the investigation, if anyone has information.

The department has also alerted metal recyclers to be on alert.

Radcliff Police are also investigating two similar incidents.

If anyone notices vandalism or theft from any cemetery in Hardin County, please file a report with the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office at 270-765-5133.
