Choc-o-holics rejoice! There's an event next week that pits several chefs from local restaurants and bakeries against each other in a competition for the Louisville's best chocolate creation. Chocolate Dream Chairman John Asher and Fred Moore of Coco's Chocolate Cafe tell us how you can sample each entry dish and fix us some hot cocoa.

Chocolate Dreams, now in its seventh year is GuardiaCare Services, Inc. signature fundraising event. Brown Forman has been presenting sponsor since its inception in 2005. Chocolate Dreams moved to the Olmsted in 2011 to accommodate an ever growing audience of chocolate enthusiasts and those who love them.  This Evening of Decadent Bliss features chocolate creations from 20+ Louisville restaurants, bakers, chocolatiers and senior living community chefs who enter their best designs in juried competition and offer samplings to over 450+ attendees who determine the winner of the People's Choice Awards.Â

Raffle Items: Two major raffle items are currently being offered online for advance purchase. A total of fifty raffle tickets each will be available for a trip to Napa Valley and another to New York City. These trips include air fare, dining and some unique travel experiences. Other raffle packages including sports items, dining package bundles, and theme packages will be available at the event. A live auction of other unique experiences will offer attendees the opportunity to dine at the home of Denny and Susan Crum with Chef Dean Corbett preparing a signature dishes; a chef's table for 8 at Captains Quarters; the ever popular UPS Flight Simulator and two Southwest Airline tickets with a Disney experience.
