LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An internationally known contemporary circus performance will visit Louisville in September.
Cirque du Soleil will perform at the KFC Yum! Center in downtown Louisville from Sept. 5-8. The high-energy, high-acrobatic production will feature OVO, a colorful intrusion into a day in the life of insects, according to a news release.
The show explores the beauty of biodiversity. Three new acts and new characters were added to the performance.
The performance scheduled includes:
- Thursday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m.
- Friday, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Sept. 7 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
- Sunday, Sept. 8 at 1 p.m.
Tickets are now available for Club Cirque members. General tickets for Cirque du Soleil go on sale Feb. 5 at 10 a.m.
