LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man was shot and killed Thursday evening in Louisville's Camp Taylor neighborhood.
Officers were called to the 1500 block of Belmar Drive at 7:30 p.m. on a reported shooting, according to officer Adam Sears, a spokesperson for the Louisville Metro Police Department. That's not far from Poplar Level Road and the Audubon Country Club.
Once on scene, police found a man unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. Sears said he was pronounced dead at the scene.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is handling the investigation, but has no suspects and has made no arrests.
Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and may have caught the shooting on a cellphone or home surveillance camera to give them a call.
