LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The court battle involving former Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin, his ex-wife, Glenna, and adopted son is set to resume after months of delays.
A new hearing date has been scheduled for in the former couple's case centering around child support for Monday, Nov. 3. It comes after months of delays and new developments in the case.Â
Earlier this year, a judge granted the former couple's adopted son, Jonah Bevin, a Motion to Intervene in his parent's divorce case after Jonah filed an Emergency Protective Order (EPO) against Matt and Glenna Bevin, claiming he was mistreated and abandoned in Jamaica as a minor.
The Bevins, who are officially divorced, had nine children together, including four adopted children.
In late March, the protective order against Matt Bevin was extended, and he had to turn over any documents on Jonah's original birthmother and any other family members. The EPO was dismissed against Glenna Bevin.
After several appeals by both Matthew Bevin and Glenna Bevin, the case is moving forward with a court case on Monday, Nov. 3.
