LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Pavement repairs on Highway 111 in Elizabeth, Indiana, are now underway.
Crews are replacing the crumbling asphalt between mile markers 16.5 and 16.9, approaching Horseshoe Southern Indiana.
Flooding and embankment slides caused the damage to the road earlier this year.

Officials with the Indiana Department of Transportation say the repairs will restore normal traffic flow.
Last week, FEMA approved a $3 million grant to pay for the repairs, which are expected to be complete in about five days.
