LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man is dead and another is injured after a shooting in Louisville's Parkland neighborhood Saturday night.
Aaron Ellis, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said the first shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of Greenwood Avenue.
Police said when officers arrived they found a man who was shot inside the location and he was taken to UofL Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to police, just minutes after that shooting, officers responded to another reported shooting in the 3000 block of Greenwood Avenue.
Police found another man who had been shot and he died on the scene.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting. Detectives are working to find out if the two victims shared any relationship.
