LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man is dead after a shooting in Louisville's Parkland neighborhood Friday afternoon.

Louisville Metro Police responded around 3:07 p.m. to the 1400 block of Catalpa Street near Woodland Avenue on a reported shooting, department spokesperson Aaron Ellis said.

Ellis said officers arrived on scene and located a man, "believed to be of adult age," inside a home who had been shot. EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene. 

LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, but has no suspects.
