LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police is investigating after a man was shot and killed near the Clifton Heights and Crescent Hill neighborhoods Thursday night.

A spokesperson for LMPD said in a statement that the shooting happened around 10:15 p.m. in the 2700 block of Brownsboro Road. That's near North Hite Avenue. 

LMPD told a WDRB Photojournalist at the scene that a man was pronounced dead.

The department's Homicide Unit is handling the investigation, but had no suspects and had made no arrests.
