LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 15-year-old boy died at the hospital Monday night after being shot in Louisville’s Portland neighborhood.
Aaron Ellis, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to a reported shooting in the 500 block of Bank Court around 7 p.m.
Police found a boy, believed to be 15, who was shot in the leg. He was taken to UofL Hospital, where he later died.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is conducting a death investigation, police said.
