LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two people were injured in what Louisville police believe are connected incidents Monday morning.

According to LMPD spokesman John Bradley, officers were called to the 3300 block of West Kentucky Street just after 3 a.m. on a ShotSpotter alert.

They found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound after arriving. She was taken to UofL Hospital for treatment.

Shortly after, a man with a gunshot wound was dropped off by private means at Norton West Louisville Hospital.

Bradley said it is believed that both shootings are related. Both the man and the woman are expected to survive.

LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating and there are no suspects.
