LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 47-year-old man has been identified as the victim in Tuesday's shooting in Louisville's California neighborhood.

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said Roderick Ricardo McKisick was shot and killed on Dec. 26 in the 1500 block of Prentice Street, near California Park.

Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Aaron Ellis said police responded on a report of a person down inside a vehicle, and found McKisick shot in the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating.
