LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man died after a shooting in the California neighborhood, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said police responded to a report of a person down inside a vehicle in the 1500 block of Prentice Street, near California Park, around 5:20 p.m. Police found a man in his 30s who had been shot.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting and detectives are canvassing the area. There aren't any suspects, according to Ellis.
