LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A fourth person was charged in connection with a fatal shooting and subsequent crash that left a 17-year-old dead after a reported drug-related burglary in Washington County, Indiana.
Indiana State Police said Isaiah Lambert, 20, of Salem, turned himself in on an arrest warrant Wednesday, June 17, at the Washington County Jail for charges of intimidation, dealing in a controlled substance and pointing a firearm.
After a hearing was held Monday, Lambert's charges were amended to murder, felony murder, attempted murder, felony attempted murder, intimidation, dealing in a controlled substance and pointing a firearm at another person. He's being held at the Washington County Jail on a $1 million cash bond.
Washington County sheriff's deputies responded around 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 13, to the 8000 block of South Big Springs Road, between Salem and Palmyra. Deputies responding to the scene requested help from ISP, which said at the time they were investigating an "apparent shooting" and "subsequent crash."
In a news release Monday, ISP said the shooting and crash allegedly stemmed from a drug-related robbery at a home in Salem involving "suspected THC vape cartridges."Â
Two hours after the reported robbery, police said "those involved in the incident again encountered each other near Big Springs Church," where shots were fired and 17-year-old Hunter Blaine Rowley, of Pekin, was hit.
Police said after the shooting Rowley's vehicle left the roadway and overturned in a wooded area where he was found by first responders in critical condition. He died at the scene.
ISP said after the shooting and subsequent crash, detectives spoke with witnesses, reviewed electronic communications and examined home security video, leading to the identification of three people who were arrested last week in connection with the investigation.

Cline was charged with: aiding murder; felony aiding murder; aiding attempted murder; intimidation and dealing in a controlled substance.
Edison was charged with: aiding murder; felony aiding murder; aiding attempted murder; intimidation; dealing in a controlled substance and pointing a firearm at another person.
At last check, Jessica Lambert, Cline and Edison were being held at the Washington County Jail without bond.Â
