LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Five people were arrested in Pekin, Indiana, after a search warrant was issued on drug charges.
Indiana State Police learned that 53-year-old Edna Murphy was wanted for a probation violation in relation to possession of meth.
Police said she was staying in the area of State Road 60 south of Pekin near the Clark County line.
The investigation continued early Thursday and troopers found more than 20 grams of suspected meth and arrested Murphy and four other people at the location.
- Murphy, 53, of Pekin - dealing meth, possession of meth, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia
- Michael Roach, 53, of Pekin - dealing meth, possession of meth, possession of a syringe and possession of paraphernalia
- Christopher Thomas, 52, of Pekin - dealing meth, possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia
- Kawlija Starrett, 44, of Pekin - possession of meth, possession of paraphernalia, possession of syringe
- Nicole Starrett, 49, of Pekin - possession of meth and possession of paraphernalia
All five people were booked in the Washington County Detention Center.
