LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An 18-year-old man charged in connection with a triple shooting in Valley Station that killed a teenager and sent another to the hospital earlier this week was in court Friday.

Jeremiah Robinson pleaded not guilty to complicity to murder and complicity to assault charges. The shooting happened in the 10100 block of Laurent Way in the afternoon hours of Sept. 2. Officers found a 17-year-old boy who'd been shot in the face inside the an apartment complex. He was taken to UofL Hospital in critical condition and died a few hours later, according to police.

While officers were at the scene, another 17-year-old shooting victim walked up to officers with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken to UofL Health Hospital, but his injuries weren't life-threatening, according to police.

Robinson, who was shot in the arm, showed up at Mary and Elizabeth Hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm, and investigators determined he was one of the shooters. Robinson was taken into custody but was unable to appear in court until Friday.

The shooting happened in an apartment on the ground floor, and investigators found a handgun and drum magazine were found near the front door of the apartment, along with one white sneaker. Robinson was wearing clothing that matched the description of the gunman. He had only one shoe — and it matched the shoe found at the shooting scene, according to court documents.

Robinson was arraigned Friday, and the judge set bond at $500,000 full cash. His next court date is scheduled for Sept. 15.
