LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A southern Indiana man was arrested for child molestation this week, according to Indiana State Police.
ISP and Washington Police Department started a criminal investigation March 2025 after receiving information that 64-year-old Luis Torres had allegedly molested a child.
After police submitted findings to the Daviess County Prosecutor's Office, criminal charges were filed against Torres.
Torres, of Washington, was arrested Wednesday at his place of employment without incident. He was taken to Daviess County Jail.
Torres was charged with child molesting – victim less than 14 years of age, child molesting – fondling or touching a child under 14 years of age and display of matter harmful to a minor, among other charges.
