LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A boy was taken to the hospital after being shot in the Park Hill neighborhood on Saturday afternoon, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson John Bradley said police responded to a shooting in the 2500 block of Dumesnil Street, near Wilson Avenue, around 1 p.m. Police found a male who had been shot.
The boy was taken to University of Louisville Hospital for surgery and treatment. Police said he's expected to survive. It's unknown at this time how old the victim is.
There aren't any suspects in the shooting.
