LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Investigators say the man killed earlier this year at Caesars Southern Indiana Casino was ambushed. Police say suspects followed LilDon Williams to the casino and then waited until they could kill him.
"He was a good man and a good dad," Williams' wife, Rannisha, said in a news conference in March.Ā "He didn't deserve this."

Investigators say Antwaun Proctor and another man followed 32-year-old Williams to the casino. The suspects then waited in a dark colored 2011 Chevrolet Malibu in the casino parking lot for three hours.
As Williams was leaving, two masked men with riflesĀ approached his car and opened fire.
"They executed LilDon Williams," Harrison County ProsecutorĀ Otto Schalk said.
Williams was shot several times and died at the scene. After the shooting, one man got into the Malibu, and another man got into the victim's silver and black 2013 Dodge Charger.Ā
LMPD's cameras caught the stolen car at Shorty's Marathon gas station within an hour of the shooting. The victim's cellphone was recovered at Victory Park in Louisville a short time later.Ā
"Louisville Metro was a tremendous asset for the Harrison County Sheriff's Department,"Ā Schalk said.
Flock Cameras traced the Malibu back to one of Proctor's family members, who is "not related in this case." Phone pings then led investigators straight to Proctor. An arrest warrant was issued, and Proctor was taken into custody April 24.Ā
He is facing several charges, including murder, robbery resulting in serious bodily injuries, auto theft, obstruction of justice and criminal mischief.
Proctor remains jailed with no bond and has a court appearance scheduled in Harrison County in June.Ā
Police are still searching for the second suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call the Harrison County Sheriff's Office at 812-738-3911.Ā Ā
