LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man died at the hospital after being shot near the Cloverleaf neighborhood early Sunday morning, according to Louisville Metro Police.
A spokesperson for LMPD said police responded to a shooting in the 2800 block of De Mel Avenue, near Gagel Avenue, around 1 a.m. When they arrived, police found a crime scene but no victim.
Shortly after, a man who had been shot arrived by personal transport to UofL Health Mary and Elizabeth Hospital. He died from his injuries. The man hasn't been identified yet.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, but there aren't any suspects at this time.
