LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- EMTs in eastern Kentucky stopped a woman accused of attacking a man with an ax and smashing a glass door at the emergency service station.
Olive Hill Police said Kellie Boggs, 44, attacked a man with an axe around 1 a.m. on Friday in Carter County. She then went to the emergency station and smashed the door, which woke up EMTs there.
The emergency technicians held Boggs at gunpoint until police arrived on scene. The man Boggs attacked had serious injuries to his face and was found in a ditch behind the station.
Boggs was charged with assault and criminal mischief.
