LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The name of a man killed in a double shooting in a Jeffersontown home Tuesday morning was released Thursday.
Jeffersontown Police Chief Rick Sanders said officers responded to a shooting in the 9900 block of Old Six Mile Lane, near Taylorsville Road, around 10:20 a.m.
Officers found two people had been shot inside the home. One victim died at the scene. The Jefferson County Coroner's Officer said Thursday that Joseph A. Lewis died of multiple gunshot wounds. His death was ruled a homicide.
Sanders said Tuesday that the other person who was shot was taken to the hospital. No updates have been given on that person's condition.
Jeffersontown Police were investigating.
