LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One person was killed and another was injured after a shooting Tuesday in Jeffersontown, according to police.
Jeffersontown Police Chief Rick Sanders said police responded to a shooting in the 9900 block of Old Six Mile Lane, near Taylorsville Road, around 10:20 a.m.Â
Two people were shot inside the home. Sanders said one person was killed while another is in the hospital. The condition of the person in the hospital is not known at this time.
Sanders said the shooting appears to be a homicide, and police are investigating.
The person killed in the shooting has not been identified.Â
