LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Authorities in Bullitt County are conducting a death investigation after human remains were found Monday night.Â
In a news release Thursday, the Bullitt County Sheriff's Office said it responded to a call late Monday about "potential human remains" found on property off Old Preston Highway North. That's just north of Little Flock Baptist Church. Â
Someone "bush hogging" near Tanyard Branch Creek discovered the remains and called police.
The Bullitt County Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation. Detectives are reviewing known missing persons reports while working with the medical examiner's office to identify the individual.
