LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A judge in Clark County, Ind., set bond at $50,000 cash for a Jeffersonville man accused of running over two men last week.

Benjamin Fox, 30, was arrested after the Aug. 1 incident at the intersection of Pearl and West Maple streets. That's where police found two unconscious men, who were taken to the UofL Health Hospital in Louisville by ambulance.

Both men's injuries were described as "serious," but no information has been released about their current condition.

Fox was arrested at the scene after a DUI investigation, which indicated his blood alcohol content (BAC) was 0.168. He was charged with two counts of operating while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury, OWI endangering, and OWI.

Fox was taken to the Clark County Jail, where his bond was set at $25,000 cash. During his arraignment on Aug. 4, the judge raised that bond to $50,000 cash, and ordered Fox to undergo a drug and alcohol assessment and be evaluated for Veteran's Court.

His next court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 9.
