LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A juvenile was hospitalized after being shot in the stomach near Waterfront Park Saturday night.
According to Louisville Metro Police, reports of a possible shooting at the Waterfront near the Purple Lot, a parking lot directly under Interstate 65, came in just before 10:30 p.m.
In a post on X, LMPD said its officers, Kentucky State Police and EMS crews were at the scene.

Police confirmed a juvenile male had been shot in the stomach and was being transported to University Hospital.
In a statement, LMPD Spokesperson Aaron Ellis said it happened around 10:15 p.m., after Thunder Over Louisville had ended.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a teenage male with a gunshot wound. Ellis said his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
LMPD said River Road near downtown Louisville will be closed while officers investigate and clear the scene.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is handling the investigation, but has made no arrests and has no suspects.
