LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --Â Police are looking for an alleged armed suspect after a woman was shot and killed Monday afternoon in Meade County.
According to Kentucky State Police, troopers were called around 1 p.m. to a home on Simpson Lane in Ekron after a report of a person found dead inside.
Troopers found 55-year-old Mary Crase, of Brandenburg, dead from at least one gunshot wound. Police said the suspect, identified as 45-year-old Scott Hornback, of Irvington, fled the scene and has not been found.
Hornback is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, 135 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Authorities said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
