LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested a man after authorities say police found more than 200 grams of drugs.

Lemar Montgomery, 35, was arrested on Tuesday in the area of Logan and Lampton Streets.

According to an arrest report, police conducted a search on February 5, 2018. Authorities say about 220 grams of heroin were found, as well as items used to sale heroin. Police say Montgomery was able to evade arrest until June 12.

Montgomery is charged with trafficking a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections.
