LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police investigators are searching for suspects after a man was shot in Pleasure Ridge Park early Saturday morning.Â
It happened around 3:20 a.m., according to a news release from LMPD. That's when officers from the Third Division responded to a report of a shooting in the 6800 block of Currington Circle. That's off Terry Road and Johnsontown Road.Â
Police arrived at that location to find a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers quickly rendered first aid until EMS arrived at the scene and took the victim to UofL Health Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating, as detectives work to learn what led up to the shooting and what a possible motive could be.
