LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man has been identified as the victim of a homicide in the St. Denis neighborhood on Monday afternoon.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said Wednesday that Victor Anderson Sr., 59, was beaten to death.
Louisville Metro Police said officers were sent to an apartment in the 4500 block of Broadleaf Drive, near the intersection of Shanks Lane and Cane Run Road in Louisville's St. Denis neighborhood, on a report of a man being assaulted, according to an arrest report.

When officers arrived, they found Jalen Forrest alone in the apartment, with his stepfather, Anderson, suffering from multiple injuries.Â
Court documents indicate the victim suffered from multiple injuries, "including fractured ribs, broken jaw and manual strangulation."Â
Jalen Forrest was charged with murder Tuesday morning after being arrested on Monday.
