LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man who was convicted of sexually abusing three children learned his fate Thursday.
In August, a Jefferson County jury found 62-year-old John Wayne Taylor, of Louisville, guilty on 19 charges of sodomy, rape and sex abuse.
Prosecutors said Taylor sexually assaulted kids aged 8, 10 and 11 that he was babysitting from January to July 2021.
He was charged two years later when investigators interviewed the victims.
Thursday, a Jefferson County judge sentenced Taylor to 60 years. A jury originally recommended 35 years in prison.
