LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a man was shot inside his vehicle in Newburg on Wednesday evening.
Officers were called to a reported shooting at Poplar Level Road and East Indian Trail around 7:20 p.m., according to LMPD Spokesperson Dwight Mitchell. That's not far from Rangeland Road and Thomas Jefferson Middle School.
Once on scene, police found a man who told them he had been shot inside his vehicle "by unknown individuals," Mitchell said.
The man was taken to University of Louisville Hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening.Â
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating, but had no suspects and had made no arrests.
