LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Metro Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a bank robbery suspect.

LMPD said in a social media post that a bank robbery happened on May 5 at the Republic Bank at 5125 New Cut Road. That's across the street from Iroquois Park.

The man allegedly entered the bank at 10:49 a.m., presented a demand note for cash to a bank employee and indicated he was armed.

Police said he left the bank in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of cash.
