LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Police are looking for suspects after a young woman was shot Sunday in Louisville's Portland neighborhood.

Police were called to the 400 block of North 28th Street at 5 p.m. April 19 on a reported shooting, according to Aaron Ellis, a spokesperson for the Louisville Metro Police Department.

Once on scene, officers found a young woman inside a home with a gunshot wound, Ellis said. She was taken to UofL Hospital, where she remains, though her condition isn't known.

LMPD's Domestic Violence Unit has taken over the investigation but has no suspects and has made no arrests.
