LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was arrested Friday in a hit-and-run that killed another man near UofL's Belknap campus just before Christmas.
Jeremy Neuner was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident.
Louisville Metro Police said he hit James Brewster, 61, who was riding his bike in the righthand lane on South 3rd Street on Dec. 21 when he was hit by Neuner.
Police said Neuner drove off. Brewster was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
LMPD was able to get Neuner's license plate number and track him down. Police said he admitted to being involved, but claimed he thought he hit a street sign.
