LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man died after being shot in the parking lot of the White Castle in the Algonquin neighborhood Sunday night.
According to LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis, officers received a call shortly after 11:00 p.m. on Sunday evening of a reported shooting in the parking lot at 7th Street and Algonquin Parkway.
When they arrived, they found evidence of a shooting, but no victim.
Officials said the man was transported by private means to University Hospital, but died before arriving to the hospital.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit will be handling the investigation.
