LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a man died following a shooting in the city's Algonquin neighborhood Monday evening.

Officers were called to the 1600 block of Moore Court just after 7 p.m. on a reported shooting, LMPD Spokesperson Aaron Ellis said in a statement. That's off South 13th Street and Brashear Drive, near South 11th Street.

Once on scene, police found a man with multiple gunshot wounds, Ellis said. Officers rendered first aid until EMS got to the scene and transported the victim to University Hospital where he died a short time later. 

LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, but has no suspects and has made no arrests.
