LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man that was stabbed in Louisville's Portland neighborhood back in March died from his injuries on Saturday.

Aaron Ellis, a spokesman for the Louisville Metro Police Department, said officers responded to the 300 block of N. 27th Street on a reported stabbing just after 7 p.m. on March 23.

When police arrived, they found a man inside that was suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to UofL Hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries.

It's unknown at this time what happened up to the stabbing.
