LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man is dead after a shooting in Louisville's California neighborhood Wednesday night.
According to Dwight Mitchell, a spokesperson for the Louisville Metro Police Department, officers were called to the 2300 block of Grand Avenue around 9 p.m. on a reported shooting. That's near South 23rd Street, not far from Victory Park.
Once on scene, officers found a man who had been shot inside a home. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Mitchell said.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, but had no suspects and had made no arrests.
