LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville police are investigating a shooting near Pleasure Ridge Park Saturday afternoon.

Matthew Sanders, a spokesman for the Louisville Metro Police Department, said officers responded to a reported shooting in the 6400 block of Maravian Drive at 12:12 p.m.

Police found a man believed to be around 40 years old shot multiple times. According to LMPD, he was shot in the arm and multiple times in the torso.

The man was taken to UofL Hospital in critical condition, police said.

LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating.
