LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Police said nothing was found Wednesday afternoon after a "suspicious package" was reported at PNC Tower in downtown Louisville.
Louisville Metro Police Officer Adam Sears said around 12:40 p.m. officers were investigating a suspicious package found in the area of 100 South 5th Street.
Traffic in the immediate area was diverted while police investigated. Less than 10 minutes later, police said the situation was determined to be unfounded.
Police said there is no evidence of any active threat to the public.
