LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — One Louisville resident is $100,000 richer after matching four numbers and the Powerball in Saturday's drawing.
Kentucky Lottery officials said the winning ticket was sold at the Lickety Split Food Mart on New Cut Road.
The winning Powerball numbers were 17-38-46-50-69, with a Powerball of 20.
The winning ticket sold in Louisville matched four of the white balls and the Powerball. While that is typically a $50,000 prize, lottery officials said the player added the Power Play feature for $1, doubling the prize to $100,000.
Winners are asked to sign the back of their tickets and claim their prize at the Kentucky Lottery headquarters on Main Street in downtown Louisville. Winners have 180 days to claim their prize.
The Powerball jackpot currently sits at $416 million, with the next drawing being held Monday at 11 p.m. You can watch the drawing and check your numbers by clicking here.
Proceeds from Kentucky Lottery ticket sales fund scholarships and grants for more than 1.1 million college students across the state. In 2025, it paid out more than $1.6 billion in prizes.
