LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Former University of Kentucky guard Kerr Kriisa was arrested Friday night by the FBI.

According to On3, the arrest was in connection with a multimillion-dollar fraud scheme dating to his time at West Virginia during the 2023-24 season.

Kriisa will be extradited to West Virginia for a court hearing scheduled for next week.

His arrest comes less than five days after he was announced as a member of LaFamilia, Kentucky's alumni team in the TBT.

LaFamilia said in a social media post that Kriisa will not be competing with the team during the tournament.

The 25-year-old from Estonia appeared in just nine games for UK in 2025 due to injury.

He began his career at Arizona and spent this past year at Cincinnati.
