LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police in southern Indiana are searching for an inmate who went missing from Edinburgh Correctional Facility.
Jackson County Dispatch posted on social media Wednesday afternoon that Michael Anderson walked away from his work detail near Vallonia Tree Nursery. he was last seen near the area of Starve Hollow.
Anderson is a 5'8", 184-pound light skinned Black male with black hair and brown eyes. He has multiple tattoos, including a rose tattoo on his right hand, a royal crown on his right arm and a Chicago Bulls logo on his left leg.
He was last seen wearing a yellow shirt, yellow pants, a Carhartt type jacket and orange hat. Anderson could be wearing "long john type underwear" instead of yellow pants.
People who live in the area are asked to lock their doors.Â
Anyone who sees Anderson should call 911 immediately.
