LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A southern Indiana mother and father were arrested Monday, charged with hitting and physically abusing their children.
Herbert and Theresa Halbert were arrested in Orange County as a result of an Indiana State Police criminal investigation that started Nov. 1. ISP received information Child Protective Services about abuse allegations involving the Halberts' four children.
Herbert Halbert, 57, is charged with domestic battery and dissemination of matter harmful to minors. Theresa Halbert, 52, is charged with domestic battery.
Both are being held without bond in the Orange County Jail.
