LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A southern Indiana man is in critical condition after being shot at a bar on Saturday morning, according to Indiana State Police.
ISP troopers responded to a shooting at The Chateau, a bar in Mariah Hill, after a verbal argument led to a shooting around 3:21 a.m. Police said Paris Keaton, 28, was involved in a verbal argument with three men inside the bar.
Keaton and Rafael Barboza, 32, walked outside of the bar and a fight started. That's when Keaton shot Barboza, according to police.
Police said Keaton then walked back inside the bar and pointed a gun at two other men. Police said everyone involved in the shooting remained on scene until police arrived.
Barboza, from Dale, was taken to Owensboro Regional Health Hospital in Kentucky. He is in critical condition, according to police.
Keaton, also from Dale, is being held on bond in the Spencer County Jail. Keaton was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, pointing a firearm, criminal recklessness and driving while suspended prior.
