Woman gets stolen purse back after alleged thief offers to sell it to her

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman whose purse was stolen from her room at the Galt House gets it back thanks to a phone call from the alleged thief.

Police say Danny Fluker took the purse, then called the owner saying he found it in an alley, and would sell it back to her for a hundred dollars.

She agreed, then called police who picked Fluker up where the victim was supposed to meet him.

Officers say in addition to the purse, he had Galt House work clothes and a fake name badge.

Security confirms Fluker didn't work for the hotel.
