LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --Â A woman was taken to the hospital after a shooting near the Shawnee neighborhood on Saturday night, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said police responded to a shooting near 44th Street and Broadway around 8:30 p.m. Police didn't find a victim, but were told a woman arrived at University Hospital by private means with a gunshot wound.
Mitchell said police believe that woman was the victim of the shooting. She has non-life-threatening injuries, according to Mitchell.
An exact location hasn't been determined by police yet.
Police don't have any suspects in the shooting.
