LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A crucial deadline for victims of the Indiana State Fair Stage collapse has arrived.

Today is the last day to submit claims for part of a $13 million settlement offered by the state and two companies involved in the accident that killed seven people.

It would allow victims and their families to share $6 million offered by the state if they agree to clear the two companies of any wrongdoing.

The companies have until August to determine if enough people filed claims to go ahead with the settlement.
